Coloring Easter Eggs

It's a tradition every year to color easter eggs at Wagners. This year Kenna made a delicious dinner of clam chowder and corn bread with fruit and veggies before we got started. Kenna and her mom Grandma Bonna

Beckems favorite was the laughing cow cheese wedges spread on celery. He figured out to get the cheese out with his finger and then lick his finger. Such a funny kid! He would then throw it on the ground for Harley (the wiener dog) to eat and say "Moe?" (more)

After we finished eating the Egg Coloring began. I decided to let Beckem color one and it was a disaster! The first thing he did was pick up the hard boiled egg and throw it on the table, cracking it, then he grabed Grandma kennas that she had just pulled out of the dye and threw it too! Then, he grabbed another egg and tried to eat it. This was all in a matter of seconds and it was kind of chaotic so I peeled for one for him to eat. He picked it up, squished it to pieces and threw a huge chunk to the dog. Apparently Easter Egg coloring isn't for 11 month olds! Here's Beckems egg he did...

Tyler gets into all these activities like egg coloring, pumpkin carving, gingerbread house making, etc! He and his brother Trevor dont mess around!Iz was really into it this year. Danica helped her make some really cute eggs!
Beckems favorite face to pull is where he pushes his lips out and breaths in and out really hard. So funny!

Grandpa likes to do it with him!Olivia as usual just played in the bouncer and entertained herself. She's 7 months old now and is getting so big! Pretty soon she'll be right there wrestling with Beckem and Isabel.

When we were done Beckem and his cousin Isabel got in grandma's big tub!
Beckem picked out a giant stick of bubbles when we were at the store earlier so they had a blast playing with them in the tub. Now everytime he takes a bath he wants bubbles. He gets them and hands them to me.

The final product! The foil eggs were my favorite. You put this glue on the eggs then wrap them in colored foil and parts of it rubs off onto the egg. Until next year!
