Princess Parties All Around

My neices Kennadi and Isabel just turned 1 and 3 and both had princess parties this year. We first went to Kennadi's at my mom's house and like always, they sure know how to decorate a cute party! The proud Mama Annika with the fabulous 1 yr old
She couldn't be any happier to have all the attention on her!
We had Cafe Rio Salads that were delicious! I got to make my favorite salsa that is so addicting so I was glad for the opportunity! :o) All the guests ate outside on a nice sunny afternoon. Annika ordered this princess cake from Costco that kind of looked like a drag queen! She made Kennadi a barbie cake that I didn't even get a picture of but it was very cute. Kennadi didn't even want to touch it. I dont think she even ate one lick of frosting. I can honestly saw I've never seen a 1 yr old do that! Beckem was wanting some attention too so he got to share a little "princess moment" in this chair. Tyler wasn't the happiest but Beckem sure was! haha
The older they get the more these two are little hams together. They are so funny to watch.
Kennadi even gave me a kiss for giving her the princess bike she wouldn't let leave her sight!
Grammie and Grandpa with the grandkids
Who knows what Beckem will do when no one is watching. He just scooted this chair right up to the table and started playing his own game.
Isabel's party was a couple weeks later and she had this awesome castle cake that we all got to help make the night before while the guys were at Priesthood session. It is made with marshmellow fondant that was a great alternative to the real thing. It looks good but actually tastes good too.
Isabel got to wear her Halloween costume early for her party and was Ariel. They kept telling her to smile for the camera so Beckem went and sat next to her and did his "Cheese" face.
He also likes to show off his muscles too. I know it looks more like shrug but we're working on getting his arms up!
Isabel always closes her eyes for pictures and looks away so her mom kept telling her to open her eyes really big and look at the camera and smile. This was the result....
Her sister Olivia was tinkerbell
This 3 yr old got very spoiled and had LOTS of gifts to open from everyone!
She got lots of princess dress up stuff and Beckem found these shoes to wear. Good thing they look kind of like Genie shoes.
She unlike Kennadi dug right into her cake and sat up to the counter and said "Ok everyone, come sing to me!"
Such fun birthday parties and we love both our nieces! Happy Birthday Iz and Kennadi!
