We've had lot's of fun with the Dehaas family this summer and I haven't posted anything! Tyler and Landon hung out when they were little and have pictures together so it's fun to have the second generation of them. These little guys are 2 months apart and are so fun together. We all went bowling and Lincoln and Beckem had the most fun sitting on the table where you enter everyones names! They each got a chocolate shake and sat here and drank them when it was our turn.
They thought it was so fun to use the little bowing rack and push the ball down it. Sometimes it would go in the gutter so it must be us parents that dont know how to set it up right!
They loved to push all the balls around but we had to stand right by them so their fingers wouldn't get smashed!
Tyler teaching Becks how it's done! He's a much better bowler than I am. The couple of strikes I did get were by pure luck!
Beckem loves to show his teeth off....the only problem is he throws his head way back to do so! Amber looks a little worried about this trick of his. We ate at Parkers right before and the boys were running around outside and Lincoln fell and bonked his head. This pictures kind of dark and you can still see the goose egg on his head. Poor little guy!
The other day Beckem invited Lincoln over for a swim party. Beckem was having a blast but Linc wasn't so sure.
Whenever we set up a pool Beckem has more fun leaning over it and splashing in it then actually getting in it. He doesn't like to be contained so I guess he thinks it takes away his freedom. He likes to run around the grass then come back to splash in it.
We tried putting lots of toys in the pool to make it fun but Lincoln just wasn't in the mood to play and wanted to get out and go home.
This is still Beckems favorite toy...his golf set. He will sometimes share it and other times wants them all to himself.
Beckem is very wild and likes to run around and harass people. Lincoln found a way to keep his distance with this golf club. Beckem wasn't so sure about this but quickly forgot as soon as he saw this ball. Anything that is remotely round or looks like a ball he yells "Ball?" and that's just how he says it....like a question. So funny! Some of his favorite foods right now are grapes, blueberries, or anything that looks like a ball! Such fun kids!
