Star Valley, WY

We had a fabulous 24th weekend and I took so many pictures I haven't blogged them yet! It started out by driving up to Logan on the 23rd and sleeping at Ak and Jeff's house. We woke up the next morning and went to Jeff's parents house to watch the parade and eat a delicious pancake breakfast. My nieces Brin and Bailey rode thier bikes in the parade and had them decorated so cute. They were so excited they got up and did their hair and were off to the parade. Beckem had a blast collecting everything from candy, to otterpops, waterbottles, and toothbrushes at the parade. He even shared with his cousin Kennadi who couldn't walk yet. She enjoyed the candy just as much too!
Our little ham sure likes to perform. He was dancing in the street and running around clapping making everyone laugh at him. He loves being the center of attention!
This was his stash about half way through! haha
It was so much hard work he had to take a breather.
We all make fun of my dad's blue blocker sunglasses but Beckem likes to wear them loud and proud! You can see grandpa's worried he's going to break them so he only gets the privilage of wearing them for a minute.
After the parade fun we drove to Star Valley, Wyoming to stay in these beautiful cabins my dad's friend owns. There were 2 side by side so my parents and my family stayed in one and my sister and her family stayed in the one next to us.
Relaxing and enjoying being there.
This is the room Tyler and I stayed in.
The only problem with these cabins were they had steep stairs the kids would not stay off! Cute little Kennadi was learning to crawl up them too!
She and Beckem were very proud they made it to the top and made a fun game out of looking down at us in the family room.
The kids made thier own entertainment by pushing each other around in the tupperwares.
Grammie joined in on the fun and was playing "row row row your boat" with Beckem. When she babysits him she plays this on the kitched floor and they scoot all around. He loves it!
This is sadly an almost daily occurance. Beckem hates laying down to change his diaper. I try and entertain him and sometimes it works but other times he just throws a fit and trys to flip over. Drives me crazy! Any advice?
We walked down to the little private lake these cabins had and Beckem felt so special holding Brin's hand.
My strong hubby rowed us all around the lake. It was so relaxing and peaceful....minus wrestling Beckem :o)
Me and my little guy
He's so much like Tyler I love it!
Me, Becks, and Brin took the paddle boat out and man, your legs get tired fast on those things!
Beckem liked to kick his feet in the water so we recruited Bailey to come help Brin paddle while I held him in the back. It took us awhile to get back to the dock but we eventually made it!
I found my dad out there paddling one morning enjoying the scenery. I'd love to take a nap out there.
My mom giving my dad a haircut. A garbage sack makes the perfect cape!
We went into Jackson Hole one day and bubba got to wear his cowboy boots.
Our whole family under the famous Jackson Hole antler arch. Really dark but that's what happens when you ask a stranger to take the pic :o)

Becks tried pulling one out but it wasn't happening.
Trying to get a pose out of him in front of these things.
We went shopping for a couple hours and saw lots of cool, fun things that fascinated Beckem. He just stared at this big buffalo.
That night we went to the Bar J Wranglers. We had a delicous steak and rib dinner and enjoyed some fun entertainment.
Beckem didn't last during the show so him and a bunch of other little kids were running around outside the barn. He found this saddle and felt like a real cowboy!
During our shopping spree we bought him this cowboy hat. He wont keep it on for long but you should've seen his face when he saw himself in the mirror in the store with it on. I was sold!
Beckem's great grandparents gave him these cowboy vest for his birthday and he finally fits into it. He loves wearing it and running around with his boots on.
Enjoying his last morning in the cabin in Star Valley, Wyoming. Thanks family for another great memorable vacation!

I just can't get enough of him. He has so much personality. I can't wait to see what your little girl is like. I am sure she will be just as cute as Beckem.
